Dear Mr. Perkins,

We are writing this letter to commend two of your staff members for outstanding service during a very difficult time we had as your clients.

Suzanne Desrochers and her assistant, Cheryl, went above and beyond any expectations one can expect from a real estate agent and her assistant.

We cannot begin to tell you how much admiration we have for these two women and the amount of work and time they have spent with us.

We listed our home with Suzanne and it sold within eight days. The buyer wanted to move in immediately but as it didn't give us much time Suzanne suggested October 14th. We all agreed.

Our home was in Orleans and we listed it for $234,900. We were offered $230,000 and we were all pleased that it had sold so quickly. The inspection went well and all conditions were taken off the house. The agent for the purchaser from ReMax also guaranteed the man had the mortgage.

We went shopping for a condo with Suzanne and purchased a new home on Bilberry Drive.

When the closing day came the purchaser was in France which means of course, no money. The purchaser decided to go with a private investor instead of taking out a mortgage in Canada.

As the ReMax real estate agent has assured Suzanne and us of a done deal with her client we waived all conditions on the condo and purchased it outright.

When the deal did not close and we had no money we were in shock. We had bought a condo for November 1st with no money to pay for it. We would not have done that if we thought the deal would not go through.Suzanne would never have even taken us to look at places if she had any inkling the man would not come through with the money as she is very careful and diligent in all her dealings.

Suzanne called us at home that night and gave as some excellent advice which was very much needed and appreciated.

Things did not go smoothly. We had to agree to two extensions to allow the purchaser to get his money. From what we understand he had the money but not enough down payment. The stress caused by the situation was unbelievable as we did not want to do to the condo owner what was being done to us. We had to start thinking of getting a mortgage.

When we started this whole process we owed very little money and when we finished were not in good financial shape.

We have had a very difficult and upsetting time.Thinking we had the guaranteed money we purchased a much needed car, had promised to pay off our line of credit to the bank, had to take out a mortgage on the new condo, had to pay for another inspection and an evaluation of the condo for the bank, cancel our mail, pay storage for our furniture (because the man insisted on moving in so fast), help our son find a place to live (when he could have stayed at the house), had to have people watch our house because we had cancelled our house insurance (as of October 14th), suffer through high blood pressure, migraines, sleepless nights, stressful days, had to go back to work(my husband) when we were retired, reinstall house insurance twice, fight with the lawyer for answers, fight with the bank because the date for the line of credit to be paid was past due, restart the heat in the house, have someone slepp in the house every second day because of reinstating the insurance and so much more we cannot even remember everything.

Through all of this mess Suzanne and Cheryl were there helping us. I have never seen two women work so hard or care so much.

When the lawyer and his staff kept giving us the runaround your staff, Suzanne and Cheryl took charge of the situation and they wouldn't take no for an answer.They got through to the lawyer when we couldn't and they wouldn't take no for an answer if his staff said he was busy.

Some days through this most difficult time we felt like Suzanne and Cheryl were our only hope and our only lifeline.

Suzanne and Cheryl were unbelievable. They called us almost every day to make sure we were all right. They called the Remax agent,the lawyer, the bank and anyone else they could to help us out. They kept on top of everything.

These two women were so incredible and helpful that there isn't a work in the English dictionary we could use to describe the kind of service we received.

Their professionalism, their hard work, their diligence, their attention to detail, their stubbornness to do what is right for their clients, their warmth, compassion and honest concern for us was more than we ever expected.

We have learned that because of the excellent training the agents and staff receive through Royal LePage, clients can and will receive the best service in this city. We also appreciate the receptionists who understood our concerns and graciously passed through our telephone calls as quickly as they could. We were always spoken to in a professional and very polite manner which is much more than I can say for the lawyer's staff which were rude and unhelpful more times than I care to remember.

We want you to know that because of the outstanding service we received through Suzanne,Cheryl and your staff that Royal LePage is and will always be the one and only company we will ever deal with. We will and have already recommended Suzanne and Royal LePage to everyone and anyone who suggests they want to deal in real estate.

Our own son is planning to purchase a home within the next year or so and because of the service we have received he has told us Royal LePage is the only company he will consider using.

If you ever want anyone to speak on this company's behalf, in a commercial or an ad, you can call on us. It will be a pleasure and an honour to do so.

Mr. Perkins, you are very fortunate to have these two women working for your company. If they are any kind of example of the kind of service everyone receives at Royal LePage then they are to be commended. It is because of staff like Suzanne and Cheryl (and the receptionists) that Royal LePage is the number one real estate company and will remain so. We will gladly spread the word to anyone who will listen about the kind of service and expertise we experienced at Royal LePage.
